Handyman for a Day

Could you do with the services of a reliable, hard-working handyman for a day, to finish off all those jobs-in-progress around the house?

Most of the renovation and building projects I undertake last from four weeks to six months. However, sometimes I have a few days available between and during contracts, and this is your chance to get your house in order/ up to date.

If you browse this website, you'll see that I am a experienced builder who will be able to do almost anything that needs to be done in and around your house. You're also welcome to contact some of my many clients who are happy to provide a personal reference: They'll confirm that I do what I promise to do, on time and on budget.

Here's how it works:

1. Start by inspecting your house, inside and outside, and make a list of everything that you'd like done, from fixing broken kitchen tiles or cupboard doors, to a patio that needs a lick of paint. 
2. List the jobs in order of priority.
3. Contact me to discuss the jobs on your list. 
4. I'll provide you with a rough estimate of the time needed for each task.
5. Once we've booked a convenient date, I'll show up and start working through the list. Should there remain outstanding items on the list, we will discuss a follow-up booking.
6. If you don't have enough jobs on your list to fill the 8 hours, you and a neighbour are welcome to supply a combined task list.
7. My Labour Day rate  incorporates Two Hour blocks:
   
   Block 01:
   Includes call out & executing proposed repair/ maintenance;
   Time:            2 hours
   Cost:             $ 150.00 (also minimum rate)
   
   Block 02:
   Flow over from previous, executing proposed repair/ maintenance;
   Total Time:   4 hours
   Total Cost:    $ 300.00
   
   Block 03:
   Flow over from previous, executing proposed repair/ maintenance;
   Total Time:   6 hours
   Total Cost:    $ 450.00
   
   Block 04:
   Flow over from previous, executing proposed repair/ maintenance;
   Total Time:   8hours
   Total Cost:    $ 550.00

   -Works & travel are executed within these time frames;
   -These rates are GST exclusive & Labour Only.

• Painting walls, doors, and ceilings (manual and/ or airless)

• Minor plumbing (such as replacing taps and washers, and sealing/ repairing basin leaks)
